Florida political staffers are touring the state today to hear complaints from homeowners about Chinese drywall problems.
Thousands of homeowners say fumes from tainted drywall have ruined their homes, corroded equipment and caused health problems. A raft of lawsuits against builders and suppliers are working their way through the courts as various government entities work on ways to address the problems.
Today, aides to Florida Sen. Bill Nelson, U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam of Bartow, Florida State Sen. Ronda Storms of Brandon will visit select Sun City Center homeowners, along with State Rep. Seth McKeel.
