Walt Disney World theme parks reported eight patrons complained of injuries or illnesses from July through September, according to the latest quarterly state report.
Tampa's Busch Gardens and Orlando's SeaWorld, Wet 'n Wild and Universal Studios reported no patron injuries or illnesses.
The major parks run their own safety programs but are required to file quarterly reports of injuries with the Florida Bureau of Fair Rides Inspection.
The agreement between the theme parks and the state requires information to be filed on situations requiring hospital stays of at least 24 hours from incidents at "registered attractions" -- those agreed upon to be reported.
The incidents at the Disney parks included falls, seizures and reports of illness:
• A 57-year-old woman passed out after riding and leaving Splash Mountain, hit her head on a concrete floor and suffered a fractured skull on July 4.
• A 74-year-old woman lost her balance on an "unload belt" from Peter Pan's Flight, fell, and hit her head and fractured her wrist on July 17.
• A 54-year-old man suffered a seizure after leaving the Star Tours ride on July 27.
• A 66-year-old man reported he felt ill on Expedition Everest on Aug. 2.
• A 40-year-old man fell and broke his right wrist when leaving the Test Track ride on Aug. 15.
• A 31-year-old woman suffered a seizure after leaving the Rock'n Roller Coaster ride on Sept. 17.
• A 52-year-old woman who rode Mission SPACE reported she felt dizzy and a loss of memory on Sept. 19.
• A 50-year-old woman who rode the Rock'n Roller Coaster reported chest pains and shortness of breath on Sept. 21.
