Healthcare insurer Humana hopes to hire more than 130 people at its East Tampa call center by month's end.
Humana is ramping up its telemarketing staff for its Medicare Direct Marketing Service division to get ready for the fall, when Medicare Advantage customers make their insurance elections.
The company hopes to put on more than 130 full-time, permanent employees by the end of July, company spokesman Mitch Lubitz said.
The company did not release the annual wages for the positions. Humana's call center is located at NetPark, 5701 E. Hillsborough Ave.
