Vision Airlines extends one-way deal on Pinellas flights

Vision Airlines is extending its $19 one-way inaugural fares between St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport and Northwest Florida Regional Airport, which serves Destin and Fort Walton Beach.

The fares apply to reservations made through Sunday for flights between Friday and May 25. Taxes and fees are additional; standard-size checked bags cost $15 with advance purchase.

Vision Airlines will operate flights four days a week from the Pinellas County airport with Dornier 328 prop-jet and Boeing 737 jet aircraft.

Regular fares will begin at $89.

Atlanta-based Vision began operations in 1994 in Las Vegas and has flown scheduled service for two years.
