Tampa International Airport Is Nation's 2nd Best, Survey Says

Tampa International Airport is the second best U.S. airport, according to Condé Nast Traveler's 11th annual Business Travel Awards.

Taking the top honor was Portland International Airport in Oregon.

Tampa's airport ranked first in the readers poll in comfort-design and ease of connections (even though, or maybe because, Tampa is not a hub airport).

TIA ranked second in customs and baggage and perceived security-safety; third in location (behind Ronald Reagan Washington National and San Diego); and fifth in food, shops and amenities.

Reagan Washington ranked third. Milwaukee International took fourth. Orlando International polled fifth.
