Local residents reeling from the housing crisis can get answers to questions and other information during a free town hall meeting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum and other officials will provide information on how to deal with and report problems such as fraud, real estate scams and loan modification difficulties. Lawyers, government officials and community leaders will be on hand with information.
The event, co-hosted by Florida's Interagency Mortgage Fraud Task Force, will be at Stetson University College of Law's Tampa Law Center, 1700 N. Tampa St.
