Lazydays RV Center Inc. has emerged from bankruptcy restructuring and hired back some laid-off workers amid what the company says is stronger demand for recreational vehicles.
Based in Seffner, Lazydays is the largest single-site recreational vehicle seller in the nation. The company laid off more than 200 workers in the past two years, bringing employment to about 450 people.
Amid bankruptcy, Wayzata Investment Partners purchased a controlling stake in the company.
"We are very pleased to have wrapped up our financial restructuring," said John Horton, president and chief executive officer.
Tuesday, the company said it hired 65 workers, including some recalled employees.
