University backs GI Bill

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Veterans eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill can attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at little or no cost under a program scheduled to begin in the 2009-10 academic year, school officials said.

A tuition package scheduled to take effect Aug. 1 at the private, nonprofit university includes a combination of benefits under the new GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon scholarships.

The university will provide 50 percent of any tuition and fee charges not covered by the GI Bill; the Veterans Administration will pay the other half.
