Shell Oil is giving away free gas to hundreds of drivers in Miami.
A press release states that the gasoline giveaway in Miami is part of a national initiative in which Shell will host surprise "Protect and Save" Gasoline Giveaway promotions in eight major U.S. cities. Miami is part of the first wave.
Drivers who visit the one pre-determined Shell station will receive up to 15 gallons of regular-grade Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasoline to help protect their engine.
The Miami event takes place Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Shell station on 106th Avenue and SW 8th street.
