3 Businesses Damaged In Strip-Mall Fire

A fire at a pool company in a Riverview-area strip mall damaged three businesses Saturday morning, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue reported.
The cause of the fire, at Paradise Pool, at 11645 Boyette Road, has not been determined.
A sprinkler system extinguished the fire by the time fire crews arrived about 9:10 a.m., said fire rescue spokesman Bruce Delk.
A hazardous materials team responded because of chemicals inside the building, but no chemicals were released as a result of the fire, Delk said.
In all, three businesses in the strip mall sustained smoke and water damage, Delk said.
