BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Mara Freshour scored 21 points and freshman Antionette Howard had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, leading No. 21 Florida State over Indiana 85-78 Friday night in the women's Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Shante Williams added 14 points and five assists for Florida State. Tanae Davis-Cain scored 13 and Jacinta Monroe had 12.

The Seminoles (6-1) were outrebounded 40-35 and trailed 41-37 at the break. But Florida State outscored Indiana 48-37 in the second half, going 14 of 24 from the field.

Haylie Linn and Jamie Braun each had 16 points to lead Indiana (4-3), which shot 28 of 52 from the field and sank 10 of 21 3-pointers.

MARYLAND 77, OHIO ST. 53: Crystal Langhorne scored 17 points, Marissa Coleman added 14 and No. 3 Maryland (10-0) beat 19th-ranked Ohio State (5-2) in the women's Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

ARIZONA ST. 78, GONZAGA 60: Jill Noe had 16 points, five assists and five rebounds to lead No. 14 Arizona State (4-2) past Gonzaga (4-2) in the first round of the ASU Classic.

UNLV 62, GW 61: UNLV (2-4) overcame a 24-point halftime deficit thanks to some stellar second-half defense and strong shooting, upsetting No. 16 George Washington (5-2) at the Four Points by Sheraton Invitational.

Top 25 Men

WASHINGTON ST. 67, BAYLOR 64: Derrick Low had a miserable shooting game until No. 6 Washington State (7-0) needed its leading scorer the most.

Low hit consecutive 3-pointers in a span of 46 seconds to finally push the Cougars in front and they went on to a victory over a scrappy Baylor (5-1) team looking for a signature win.

TENNESSEE 98, LOUISIANA-LAFAYETTE 70: Tyler Smith scored 22 points to lead five Tennessee players in double figures, and the No. 11 Vols (7-1) beat Louisiana-Lafayette (1-4) for their 22nd straight home win.

MARQUETTE 100, WIS.-MILWAUKEE 65: Dominic James scored 22 points and backcourt mate Jerel McNeal added 16 to power No. 13 Marquette (5-1) to a rout of cross-town rival Wisconsin-Milwaukee (3-4).
