BRANDON - Dads-to-be can get a crash course in fatherhood, with the help of a course offered by the Child Abuse Council.
Boot Camp for New Dads is offered periodically throughout the county.
Several men, awaiting their first babies soon, attended one of the boot camps held recently in Brandon.
"I want to make sure I have all the basics, so I don't do the knucklehead thing," said Sean Riley of Dover
Brian Martz of Riverview wanted a better idea of what to expect when his son, Ethan Randall, arrives.
Jimmy Dolin, along with his new son, Jake, of Palma Ceia, was there to lend a hand.
The men learned how to mix formula, clean the baby and change a diaper, prepare a diaper bag, avoid shaken-baby syndrome and other helpful hints every father should know.
