Van Halen Coming To Forum

TAMPA - The almost original lineup of Van Halen will perform Feb. 18 at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday.

Lead singer David Lee Roth, who departed the band in 1985, has returned to the fold for this tour. However, bassist Michael Anthony has been exiled, presumably for his continued friendship with another former Van Halen frontman, Sammy Hagar.

Anthony's replacement on the four-string is none other than guitarist Eddie Van Halen's 16-year-old son, Wolfgang.

Tickets, $49.50, $79.50 and $149.50 plus service charges, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. For details, call the Forum box office, (813) 310-2500, or Ticketmaster, (813) 287-8844.
