Largo Man's Body Found In South Carolina River

BEAUFORT, S.C. - The body of a Largo, Florida, construction worker missing for nearly two weeks has been found in a South Carolina river.
That state's Department of Natural Resources says a fisherman spotted the body of 48-year-old Eddie Hearns on Saturday about a mile from the U.S. 17 bridge over the Combahee River. Hearns had been working on the bridge.
Officials confirmed Hearns' name with identification found in a pocket of his pants.
Authorities say crew members realized Hearns was missing Nov. 20 as they were finishing work for the day. His jacket was found in the water more than a mile from the bridge.
