SEMINOLE - Pinellas County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested a 45-year-old Seminole man today in connection with an August bank robbery.
Anthony J. Ross of 9209 Seminole Blvd. was arrested outside his home today at roughly 9:30 a.m., authorities said. He was charged with one count of robbery.
Ross is accused of robbing Cornerstone Community Bank at 7800 Seminole Blvd. at 10 a.m. Aug. 10.
Detectives say Ross entered the bank and presented a note demanding cash and implying he was armed.
The teller complied, and Ross fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
After the robbery, surveillance photographs and video were distributed to the media.
Robbery detectives say media coverage resulted in a tip that led to the arrest.
