CHARLOTTE, N.C. - NASCAR is looking for another series title sponsor after Sears' decision to end its title sponsorship of the Truck Series after the 2009 season.
Sears, through its Craftsman tools brand, has been the only title sponsor the Truck Series has had since its inception in 1995.
NASCAR signed Nationwide Insurance this year to replace Busch as title sponsor of its No. 2 series, beginning in 2008. The top series also will have a name change next year, from Nextel Cup to Sprint Cup, to reflect changes since Sprint and Nextel merged.
NASCAR officials will begin the search for a Truck Series sponsor immediately.
