Pair Invade Lake Wales Home

Deputies are looking for two men who kicked in the door of a Lake Wales home, pistol-whipped an occupant and then fled.
The men burst into Apartment No. 2 at 15 Mulberry Street shortly after 3:30 a.m. Thursday and demanded money, deputies said. One of them had a small handgun and used it to strike an occupant on the face.
The two occupants escaped and called 911 from a convenience store. They saw the men leave in a silver Dodge Magnum, which deputies found nearby.
