Park Offers Wild Wonders

NEW PORT RICHEY - Get a drive-through view of the sights - and sounds - of Santa Claus time at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park.

The free Wilderness Wonderland will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday through Dec. 15 at the park, 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd.

Pasco parks and recreation employees, businesses and community groups are presenting the event designed for revelers of all ages.

At the park entrance and cabin area, visitors will see light displays and other decorations from the comfort of their vehicles. (People are discouraged from getting out and walking around.)
Starkey Park is just east of Timber Greens Country Club. From Decubellis Road, turn south on Starkey Boulevard and then east onto Wilderness Road and follow the signs.
