Tarpon Springs Police ID Woman Hurt In Cycle Crash

TARPON SPRINGS - A woman who was critically injured in a motorcycle wreck Sunday evening has been identified as Tammy L. Gardner, 36, of Tarpon Springs.
Gardner was a passenger on a 2004 KTM motorcycle that crashed into a Lexus at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Huey Avenue about 6 p.m., Tarpon Springs police said.
She was not wearing a helmet, police said. She is in critical condition at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Lt. Barbara Templeton said.
The driver of the motorcycle, Jeffrey Bush, 34, of Tarpon Springs, did not have life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Lexus was not injured.
The wreck remains under investigation.
