McCar Homes offers preconstruction incentives

It's a buyer's market and McCar Homes is inviting prospective homeowners to take advantage of preconstruction prices and incentives for its new community in Land O' Lakes — Terra Bella.

Although preconstruction prices for homes in Terra Bella have yet to be set, Lori Friesz, marketing coordinator for McCar, says buyers could save thousands. McCar also is offering refundable $1,000 lot reservations.

"People can reserve a lot in this beautiful community, and they are guaranteed a refund should they choose not to move forward," Friesz says. "The average home site sizes are 60 by 110 feet and 65 by 105 feet. With a reservation, people can get their pick of the premium lots, a priority reservation and preconstruction pricing on the homes."

The Tuscan-themed gated community of Terra Bella will feature homes from McCar's Alexander and Royal collections, including seven new floor plans that will be unveiled in January, Friesz says.

The Alexander Collection includes the Pierson, which features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the two-story Windermere, boasting four bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms. Homes in the collection offer 1,902 to 2,702 square feet of living space.

The Royal Collection features the Hallandale with four bedrooms and three bathrooms and the two-story Montverde with five bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms, among other homes. The larger Royal residences provide 2,660 to 3,140 square feet of living space.

Amenities in Terra Bella include a lap pool and splash pool, a 2,400 square-foot clubhouse with a kitchen, entertainment area, fitness center and activity room. There also will be an outdoor kitchen and seating areas residents can use for entertaining.

Friesz says Terra Bella's location also is a plus.

"The 80-acre Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex backs up to the community and a Florida Medical Clinic and professional offices are being built just outside of Terra Bella."

It's less than a mile from the Cypress Creek Town Center, a shopping center expected to open next year, Friesz adds. It also is convenient to Interstate 75, U.S. 41 and the Suncoast Parkway, she says.

The McCar models in Terra Bella are expected to be open by summer, when the first homes will be ready for occupancy, Friesz says.

Terra Bella is not the only community where McCar is offering preconstruction lot reservations. Prospective buyers also can choose lots at Valterra in Valrico, which will open in the spring, according to Friesz.

"The community will feature our Royal Collection of homes and buyers can reserve a home with a simple, refundable $1,000 lot reservation for one of the 53 home site opportunities."

McCar Homes is building homes in several Bay area communities, including Brookfield in Wesley Chapel, with homes priced from $199,900; Seven Oaks in Wesley Chapel, with homes priced from the mid-$300,000s; Heritage Isles in north Tampa, with homes priced from the mid-$400,000s; Highland Ridge in Hudson, with homes priced from $169,900; and Summertree in New Port Richey, a 55-plus active adult community with homes priced from $194,900.

"McCar Homes are a great value because of the high-quality building products the company uses, the numerous upgrades available in the homes and the desirable communities where the homes are located," Friesz says.

While upgrades vary by floor plan, "McCar has included many in the price of its homes, so that buyers don't have to take the time to select upgrades and pay extra for them."
