Thunderbirds To Perform At 2008 Sun 'N Fun Fly-In

LAKELAND – The Air Force announced they will send the Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron to the 2008 Sun 'n Fun Fly In. The Fly-In runs from April 8 to 13 at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport.
The Thunderbirds will fly their F-16Cs in performances during the final weekend of the show.
The team will arrive earlier in the week and may fly some individual and team orientation flights before their shows.
"Sun 'n Fun is honored and excited to hear that the world's most recognized military jet team – the Thunderbirds – has included our event on their 2008 schedule," said John Burton, Sun 'n Fun president and convention chairman.
