TAMPA - Drivers trying to leave Tampa International Airport toward Clearwater will have to take an alternate route because of a tractor-trailer crash closing an exit ramp to State Road 60.
Florida Department of Transportation officials say the ramp could be closed until 3 p.m.
The ramp connects westbound State Road 60 to southbound George Bean Parkway and northbound Memorial Highway-Veterans Expressway.
Traffic is being routed to eastbound Spruce Street, where motorists can U-turn at the traffic signal at O'Brien Street and then use the westbound Spruce Street ramp to westbound S.R. 60-northbound Memorial Highway-Veterans Expressway.
Motorists may consider using the airport service roads and exit to westbound Spruce Street at O'Brien Street.
