TAMPA — Suze Merzier thought that as she and her boyfriend of five years were separating, he was moving out items that belonged to both of them, Tampa police say.
The woman then started damaging the items. When her boyfriend tried to stop her, she hit his head with a Black & Decker drill, a criminal arrest affidavit says. The man refused medical treatment.
Police arrested Merzier, 24, about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at her home. She faces a felony count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Merzier, of 2205 E. Diana St., remains in Orient Road Jail with bail set at $1,000.
