Man Charged With Shooting Brothers In Brandon Drug Deal

TAMPA - A Valrico man has been arrested for shooting two brothers during a drug deal, Hillsborough County deputies say.

Deputies arrested Corey Lamarr Keller, 18, on Monday and charged him with attempted murder, attempted battery and attempted armed robbery.

Keller demanded money during the Dec. 10 shooting in the area of Natures Way and Golf Meadow Drive in Brandon, deputies say. He didn't get any.

A criminal arrest affidavit states that Keller shot Brendon Reed McGall, 18, of Brandon in the back and Robert McGall, 24, of Brandon twice in the leg.

A friend of Brendon and Robert McGall said he heard shots fired and that he transported them to Brendon McGall's home.

The brothers were taken to Tampa General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Keller, of 4104 Cypress Point Place, is a member of the Bloods gang, a criminal arrest affidavit states.

Keller, known as "Biggs," or "Biggz," was taken to Orient Road Jail. Bail was not set.
