TAMPA - Thirty families went to One Buc Place today thinking they were getting a tour of the facility but instead were showered with gifts by players and cheerleaders during the team's Day of Giving.
Bicycles and tricycles lined the walkways, waiting to be taken home by the families, along with Publix and Hess gift cards, MP3 players, Buccaneers game tickets and more.
The families were selected by local nonprofit agencies such as A Brighter Community, Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Family Service Centers, Hispanic Services Council, Seniors in Service of Tampa Bay, Tampa Jewish Family Services and First Baptist Church of College Hill.
