The man coughs throughout the robberies, police said.
On Monday, he entered the Fifth Third Bank and passed a note to a teller stating the bank was being robbed and that he had a gun. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man was wearing a blue winter coat, jeans, a black baseball cap and tan work boots. The winter jacket hood was pulled over his head, and he covered the rest of his face with his hand, police said.
He is 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-11 and thin. He was wearing a latex glove on his right hand.
Before the robbery, the man entered a Wachovia Bank at 2515 West Bay Drive. Bank staff confronted him about not being able to see his face. He asked about bank hours and left.
A witness saw him get in a gray older model car.
