Detectives have released a surveillance photograph of the man who robbed World Savings Bank at 2525 Pasadena Ave. in South Pasadena about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 9.
Detectives say he implied he had a weapon and gave the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied.
The man, thought to be in his 20s, fled to Palms of Pasadena Hospital and changed clothes in a restroom, detectives say, ditching the clothes he wore during the robber.
Detectives also are searching for a white man in his late 30s who robbed a Wachovia Bank at 1101 Pasadena Ave. just after 9 a.m. Dec. 10.
That robber also gave the bank teller a note demanding cash, then fled on foot with the money.
He last was seen running behind a shopping center across the street from the bank.
He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray toupee, sunglasses and a dark gray tweed sports coat.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Paul Martin of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office robbery unit at (727) 582-6200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
