ATLANTA - Russell Robinson scored 17 points Tuesday and No. 3 Kansas survived a last-minute scare to remain unbeaten with a 71-66 victory against the Yellow Jackets.
After Georgia Tech (4-5) cut the Kansas lead to one point with 9 seconds left, Sherron Collins made two free throws and then had a steal and layup to clinch the victory for the Jayhawks (11-0).
TEXAS 66, ORAL ROBERTS 56: D.J. Augustin scored 24 points and No. 4 Texas survived its toughest home game this season with a victory against Oral Roberts (6-4).
The Longhorns (11-0) needed Augustin's dazzling drives and late free-throw shooting to put the game away. He scored 10 of Texas' final 17 points.
Butler-Rayford Leads TCU Women Past Oklahoma St.
FORT WORTH, Texas - Lori Butler-Rayford had 30 points and 15 rebounds to lead TCU to a 97-63 victory against No. 20 Oklahoma State (7-1).
Helena Sverrisdottir scored 17 points and Adrianne Ross added 11 for TCU (5-6).
STANFORD 73, NEW MEXICO 54: Candice Wiggins scored 18 of her 21 points in the first half, Jayne Appel added 18 points and Kayla Pederson had 13 as No. 5 Stanford (9-1) beat New Mexico (7-4).
LSU 86, ILLINOIS-CHICAGO 44: At Cancun, Mexico, Sylvia Fowles scored 17 points to lead four players in double figures as the No. 8 Lady Tigers (8-2) routed Illinois-Chicago (3-6) at the Cancun Classic.
DUKE 95, UTAH VALLEY 61: Abby Waner scored 19 points and tied an Atlantic Coast Conference record with 10 steals in No. 14 Duke's rout of Utah Valley (9-3).
Reserve Carrem Gay scored a season-high 20 points, Joy Cheek scored 13 of her 15 points during the decisive first half and Chante Black also had 15 points for the Blue Devils (8-3).
MIAMI 63, SOUTHERN MISS 56: At Cancun, Mexico, LaToya Drake scored a career-high 18 points and added eight rebounds as the University of Miami (5-6) rallied from a 20-point deficit to beat Southern Mississippi (8-4) at the Caribbean Classic.
