PLANT CITY - Visitors are invited to see Railroad Santa north of Plant City on Friday and Saturday.
Former CSX Railroad engineer R.W. Willaford and his wife, Felice, are staging this sixth annual event free at their home from 2 to 6 p.m. at 908 Joe McIntosh Road.
All visitors will get to visit with Santa and receive a photo, gift bag and treats.
Willaford, a 30-year employee with the railroad, had a vintage 1965 caboose, motor car and cart mounted on railroad ties in his front yard and has completely restored them.
Last year, the Willafords entertained more than 300 children at the event.
The event is done in cooperation with the Operation Lifesaver Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Safety Program.
Joe McIntosh Road is off State Road 39 (Paul Buchman Boulevard) between Sam Allen and Knights Griffin roads, about 1 1/2 miles north of Interstate 4.
