De'andre Myrick
About 7:30 p.m. Thursday, two masked men – one armed with a black semiautomatic weapon – stole a cash register, a purse and forced two people to the ground at Pizza World, 3005 Duff Road, sheriff's spokeswoman Carrie Rogers said.
Arrested on charges of armed robbery were De'andre Myrick, 18, and Early Reddick III, 17, both of 7704 Canterbury Circle, Lakeland, and Devon Watts, 13, of 7804 Sugar Pine Drive, Lakeland.
A witness told deputies the three teenagers said they were going to rob a pizza store, then the trio donned black hooded sweatshirts and tied black shirts over their faces and left, Rogers said.
Deputies said the teens told them they committed the robbery.
Watts said he acted as a lookout while Myrick, who had the handgun, and Reddick, robbed the restaurant, Rogers said.
Watts and Reddick were taken to the juvenile center and Myrick was taken to Polk County Jail.
