A 22-year-old Seffner woman and her teenage friend were arrested Thursday for selling a prescription painkiller to undercover deputies, authorities said.
Katie G. Hinton of 11416 U.S. 92, Lot 6, was taken to Orient Road Jail. Bail was not set. Keisha Mace, 18, of Dunedin, was released after posting $19,000 bail.
On Wednesday night at the mobile home, undercover detectives paid Hinton $60 for a small amount of oxycodone, the report states. Her 13-month-old child was present, and she "took no measures to prevent the baby from being exposed to the narcotics transaction," the report states.
Thursday morning, detectives returned to the home and Mace made another $60 sale of the drug to deputies, investigators said.
Deputies then arranged to meet Hinton in a parking lot on West Busch Boulevard, where they arrested her after she sold them 36.5 grams of oxycodone for $2,400, the report states.
Mace was charged with possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and child neglect.
