TARPON SPRINGS - A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with a home invasion of an ex-roommate Sunday and police are investigating whether he's involved in another.
A 92-year-old was thrown from his wheelchair and robbed in the second home invasion, police said.
Jake Ward, with a last known address of 4416 Dohcrest Dr., New Port Richey, has a pending charge of armed home invasion robbery stemming from the first home invasion.

Ward was stopped and arrested by Hernando County deputies for driving with a suspended license and violation of probation.
Ward and another suspect, a juvenile, broke into 621 N. Florida Ave., in the early morning hours. The victim told police he was awakened by the two suspects. The victim recognized both of the suspects, including Ward who was a former roommate.
The juvenile has been identified but has not been arrested, police said.
The second home invasion robbery occurred in the area of the first robbery at 10:30 a.m., police said.
The victim was a 92-year-old man who is vision-impaired and in a wheelchair. The victim was knocked out of his wheelchair and was threatened with a gun, police said.
The suspects took money and personal checks from the house, police said. The suspects disabled his phone. The victim told police it took him several hours to manage getting to a neighbor's for help.
Detectives are investigating whether the two home invasions are connected.
