A pedestrian was killed overnight in a hit-and-run near Browning and Dorman roads in the Riverview area, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The passerby found the body about 5 a.m., sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway said.

The victim is Christopher McKenna, 23, of 1005 Pelote Cemetery Road, Callaway said.

Callaway said there are no known witnesses.
