Michael Luis Torres kicked two Hillsborough County deputies Sunday, bruising one's wrist and hand, deputies say.
Deputies arrested him 5:16 a.m. Sunday.
Torres, 21, was charged with two felony counts of battery on a law enforcement officer and one count of resisting arrest with violence.
Deputies went to 202 Poinsettia Pine Court in unincorporated Hillsborough County on a domestic violence call, a criminal arrest affidavit states. There, Torres "became aggressive and combative," pushing a deputy who was trying to arrest him.
Torres continued and was taken to the ground, according to the affidavit. Torres then kicked the deputies. One deputy had minor injuries to a wrist and hand; the other was kicked in the back but had no visible injuries.
Torres remained in Orient Road Jail on Monday. His bail was set at $6,000.
