Still growing into his body, but has rapidly improved as a blocker and receiver. Known for his competitiveness and unwillingness to ever take off a play. Had 33 receptions for 410 yards and two touchdowns. As a junior, had 25 receptions for 551 yards. "Dwayne has all the potential in the world to become a great one in college," said Terry Sanford coach Wayne Inman. "He has a winning attitude. He can make the big play. And he's not shy about getting in there and blocking. This is a hard-nosed kid." Selected for the Jan. 5 ESPNU All-American Game at Disney's Wide World of Sports.
