Classic left tackle with great footwork, long arms and tenacity to fight off athletic defenders. Physical skills are unquestioned, but never-ending work ethic might be his best quality. Selected Class 6A lineman of the year in Alabama. "He works on his footwork every day – and I mean it's every single day,'' Mountain Brook coach Chris Yeager said. "He's doing cone drills, ladder drills, whatever it takes, whether it's raining, snowing or the sun is shining. It's part of who he is. Even when he became a highly recruited player, he never stopped working or trying to improve himself. He doesn't have bad days. With Tyler, every day is a good day.''
