Defensive playmaker with excellent speed and pursuit. Leader of a First Coast team that upset Tallahassee Lincoln in the Class 4A playoffs and reached the school's first state quarterfinal. Doesn't get fooled very often. Makes the high-impact tackle. Very active in pass coverage. "The thing you have to be impressed with is his ability to make plays anywhere on the field,'' said Larry Blustein, a long-time football recruiting analyst in Florida. Runs 4.5 in the 40-yard dash and bench-presses 305 pounds. Had 116 tackles and 13 sacks as a junior. Burst on the recruiting scene as a sophomore with 150 tackles. Selected for Jan. 5 ESPNU All-American Game at Disney.
