Public schools: closed through Jan. 4. Schools will reopen Jan. 7 for faculty. Students will return Jan. 8.

Hillsborough Community College: closed today

Garbage collection: No pickup today. Collection will be the next scheduled pickup date.

Public transportation: HART will not operate today.

Recreation: Morris Bridge, Trout Creek and Flatwoods will be open today. Recreation centers will be closed today.

Tampa

Government offices: closed today

University of Tampa: closed through Jan. 1; classes resume Jan. 2.

University of South Florida: closed today, will reopen Wednesday.
