Julio Jones

6-4, 220, Wide Receiver, Foley, Ala.

Converted running back who quickly matured into an electrifying playmaker. Selected as Alabama's Mr. Football and Gatorade Player of the Year. Thought to be the highest-ranked prospect ever in South Alabama, ahead of former Mobile Williamson QB JaMarcus Russell. "I've pretty much run out of adjectives," Foley coach Todd Watson said. Had 68 receptions for 1,179 yards and 16 touchdowns – along with 1,657 all-purpose yards – for a 12-1 Lions team. Junior season was equally productive – 75 receptions for 1,301 yards. In 2005, his first season as a full-time receiver, had 51 receptions for 805 yards. Selected for the Jan. 5 ESPNU All-American Game at Disney's Wide World of Sports.

COLLEGE CHOICE: Alabama.
