LAKE BUENA VISTA - Florida WR Percy Harvin limped from practice Wednesday after spraining his right ankle, but the sophomore returned to the field a few minutes later.
"It was during two-minute drill," Florida coach Urban Meyer said. "He stepped on someone's foot, sprained it. We re-taped it, and he went back out there."
Harvin is second on the team in rushing with 70 carries for 599 yards and second in receiving with 50 catches for 781 yards. He has eight touchdowns, despite missing the South Carolina and Florida Atlantic games because of a severe migraine headache.
TEBOW ON GOSSIP: Florida QB Tim Tebow said Wednesday that he didn't have a post-Heisman celebration anywhere near as interesting as a New York Post gossip item on Dec. 16 led readers to believe.
According to the Post, Tebow was spotted on Dec. 8 "celebrating his victory over bottles of Crown Royal and Grey Goose last Saturday night at Cellar Bar, told SKYNY owners Derek Feinman and Alan Philips: 'I am relieved and looking forward to whupping Michigan in the Capital One Bowl.'"
Tebow, 20, said his night wasn't nearly so exciting.
"I don't think that's quite true," Tebow said. "We were with the family hanging out."
PRESENT AND ACCOUNTED FOR: Meyer said all the Gators arrived in Orlando as planned. He also said they endured a tough practice to get them back in the proper mindset.
"We ran them pretty good," Meyer said, "to get the Christmas out of them."
