OLDSMAR - The owner-trainer combination of Frank C. Calabrese and Rick Slomkowski swept the late daily double Wednesday.

The pair's first victory was Coleridge in the ninth race. Coleridge, a 3-year-old son of Valid Concept, was ridden by Luis Antonio Gonzalez.

The bay gelding scored his fourth lifetime win, and he has finished in the money in eight of his 12 career attempts.

Red Falcon, with Pedro Gonzalez in the irons, gave Calabrese and Slomkowski their second win of the day.

The 3-year-old Johannesburg gelding scored his first career victory in the day's finale.

Racing resumes today with a 10-race card.

Saturday will be Cotillion Festival Day, a day dedicated to 2-year-old racing capped by the $65,000 Sandpiper Stakes for fillies and the $65,000 Inaugural Stakes for colts and gelding.
