TAMPA - Police charged a man and a woman with felony drug trafficking charges Thursday after finding a loaded shotgun, cocaine and ecstasy in a house in the Lowry Park area.
Kristina Vrastil, 31, who lives in the house at 1703 W. Atkinson St., and a visitor from Carrollwood, Telap Tan, 32, both were held at the Orient Road Jail without bail today.
Tampa police were watching the Atkinson Street house about 5 p.m. Thursday because of a narcotics complaint, a preliminary report states.
Officers noticed a green 1995 BMW leave the house and stopped it for traffic violations. They arrested Tan, who was driving, on a felony ecstasy trafficking charge after finding 20.9 grams of the drug inside the BMW, the report states.
After that, police searched the house and found 32.9 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of ecstasy, a loaded 12-gauge shotgun and $1,891 in cash, the report states.
Police charged Vrastil with felony cocaine trafficking and felony ecstasy trafficking, among other charges.
