Bucs Defense vs. Panthers QB Matt Moore
Bucs defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin can make life miserable for a young quarterback. He'll throw looks at them that they've never seen before and change them up just before the snap. Then, on top of that, he trots players such as Derrick Brooks, Ronde Barber and Greg White out there play after play. Even veteran QBs have a hard time moving the ball against this defense, so Moore would seem to have a long day ahead of him. He's a smart quarterback who doesn't make a lot of bad decisions or throws, but he lacks experience and mobility and that's where he loses any edge he might have had in this matchup. Advantage: Bucs.
Bucs LG Arron Sears vs. Panthers DT Kris Jenkins
Jenkins was one of the few players who showed up against the Bucs the first time these teams played this season. He's a very proud player and he'll be looking for some kind of revenge today, even if it only comes on a personal level. He plays with a mean streak and is excellent at shooting gaps and disrupting plays in the backfield. Sears plays with a mean streak, too, and with great leverage. That's where he can gain an edge against Jenkins, who has a tendency to play high. This time around, though, look for Jenkins to throw something at Sears he didn't see the first time. Advantage: Jenkins
