Man's Body Found In Pond At Town 'N Country Apartments

TOWN 'N COUNTRY - A man's body spent several days in a Town 'N Country apartment complex's pond before being found Sunday morning, deputies said today.
Deputies, a dive team and crime scene investigators from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrived at The Mallory Apartments, 11525 Casa Marina Way, shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday.
The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office took the body of the black man, who was not identified today. An autopsy has been conducted, but the results were not available.
A missing person report was filed Thursday for 26-year-old Jevon Abbott, who lives at the complex, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. Abbott has been missing since Tuesday. It remains unclear whether he is the person found in the pond.
