Metro Buys 1,000 Homesites At Cypress Creek Subdivision

Tampa-based Metro Development Group said Monday it has purchased 1,000 homesites from M/I Homes at the Cypress Creek subdivision in southern Hillsborough County.

The purchase price was not disclosed.

The purchase comes just weeks after the company acquired more than 8,000 homesites in seven Florida counties.

So far, 850 home sites have been developed in Cypress Creek, and more than 100 homes have been built there.

The master plan for the community calls for 1,400 single-family homes and 865 town homes.
