BELLEVIEW - The Sebring High girls basketball team outscored Gulf 15-3 in the fourth quarter to win the Blue Division title 45-37 at the Lady Rattlers Friends Holiday tournament Saturday night.
Gulf's Jordan Schulman led the Bucs (13-4) with 15 points before fouling out late in the game. Schulman, who leads Pasco County in three-point goals, was also named to the all-tournament team. Nicole Adams had 10 points.
Sebring's Whitney Lee led her team (12-4) with 14 points, including eight points in the fourth quarter. Hannah Shoop had 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
"Three games in a row caught up with us," Gulf High coach Mike Quarto said. "They beat us down the stretch in a championship game. They are a more experienced team."
