Get tips on "going green" and cutting costs on projects during "Florida's Largest Fall Home Show" this weekend at The Florida State Fairgrounds.
You can also learn how to spend a bundle among more than 900 exhibits in the fairgrounds' Expo Hall.
Local, national, and international companies are showcasing futuristic technology as well as new products and services to customize a home.
The event is put on by the same company, Turner Exposition, that stages "Florida's Largest Home Show" with 1,200 booths each Labor Day weekend at the Tampa Convention Center.
Experts are available at the fairgrounds this weekend to talk one-on-one about subjects including remodeling, decorating, landscaping and furnishings.
There's even a wildlife show featuring raptors and other creatures at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. today and Sunday.
The show runs 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. todayand 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 55 and older, and children 12 and younger are free.
Parking is $5 per car or $10 per RV or bus. Visitors should enter the Fairgrounds via the U.S. Highway 301 entrance.
