THE DIFFERENCE: The Wolves' running game stayed consistent as Newsome rallied for the win. Freshman Conner Powers rushed 23 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns to lead Newsome as the Wolves rushed for 262 yards.

GAME NOTES: Derrick Johnson led Bloomingdale with 23 rushes for 134 yards. … In the second half, Bloomingdale added two field goals from Jordan Fry (28,30) to take a 20-10 lead. … The Bulls' Justin Mann, intercepted two passes in the game. … Newsome drove 44 yards to score on a 32-yard pass from Kyle Parker to Evan O'Connor for the deciding score. O'Connor had 78 yards rushing and 41 receiving yards in the game.

STAT OF THE GAME: Of Powers' 23 rushing attempts, eight were for more than 10 yards, while O'Connor also picked up yards in bunches with three rushes fof more than 20 yards.
