WHAT WENT RIGHT FOR BUCS: A textbook opening drive with a nice mix of running and passing, and another Jeff Garcia-to-Joey Galloway scoring play.
WHAT WENT WRONG FOR BUCS: The defense gave up a 47-yard completion on the second play from scrimmage, setting up the opening-drive field goal.
2nd Quarter: Bucs 10, Cardinals 3
WHAT WENT RIGHT FOR BUCS: Tanard Jackson continued his quest for the All-Rookie team with an interception on the first play of the quarter, setting up Tampa Bay at the Arizona 17.
WHAT WENT WRONG FOR BUCS: Back-to-back false start penalties against Jeremy Trueblood and Arron Sears helped Tampa Bay settle for a field goal.
3rd Quarter: Bucs 17, Cardinals 3
WHAT WENT RIGHT FOR BUCS: Opening the second half with another balanced drive capped by Earnest Graham's 2-yard TD run.
WHAT WENT WRONG FOR BUCS: Despite Kurt Warner's physical limitations, the defense allowed the veteran QB to complete 16- and 13-yard passes to move the Cards into Bucs territory.
4th Quarter: Bucs 17, Cardinals 10
WHAT WENT RIGHT FOR BUCS: The Cardinals having no timeouts and the clock not inside the final two minutes of the quarter, so Arizona or the replay official could not challenge Jermaine Phillips' sideline interception with 2:31 left.
WHAT WENT WRONG FOR BUCS: Matt Bryant's missed field goal marred what could have been the longest scoring drive (plays and time) in team history and also prevented the Bucs from putting the game away.
