Shia LaBeouf was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing after the "Transformers" star refused to leave a Chicago drugstore, police said Sunday.
A security guard told LaBeouf that he needed to leave the Walgreens store because he appeared to be drunk, police said.
When LaBeouf, 21, refused to leave, the security guard detained him and called police at about 2:30 a.m., according to police spokeswoman Laura Kubiak.
After he was arrested, police noted that LaBeouf was "very courteous and polite," Kubiak said. Police said he posted bail before 7 a.m., but Kubiak did not know the amount.
LaBeouf, of Glendale, Calif., is scheduled to appear in court in Cook County, Ill., on Nov. 28.
Police did not administer a sobriety test because LaBeouf was not driving a vehicle, Kubiak said.
Publicists for LaBeouf did not immediately return calls for comment.
The actor is set to co-star with Harrison Ford in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," due in theaters next year.
Holmes Finishes New York Marathon
Katie Holmes was among the tens of thousands of runners participating in Sunday's New York City Marathon, finishing the race in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds.
Husband Tom Cruise and their daughter, Suri, were at the finish line to congratulate the actress, according to event officials.
Holmes had registered under an alias so she wouldn't draw too much attention to herself, event officials said, but her time was listed in the official results under her real name.
The 26.2-mile course travels through all five boroughs of the city, starting on Staten Island and finishing in Manhattan's Central Park. This year, 39,085 runners started the race.
Holmes has said she has always liked to run, and took it up to help lose baby weight after giving birth to her daughter.
The Real Obama Pokes Fun At Himself
After spending most of Saturday criticizing Hillary and Bill Clinton, Barack Obama took the stage with two impersonators - Amy Poehler and Darrell Hammond - on "Saturday Night Live."
The opening sketch of Saturday's broadcast featured Poehler and Hammond, as the Clintons, hosting a Halloween party. Toward the end of the sketch a man walked in wearing an Obama mask - which he removed to reveal he was, indeed, Obama.
"I have nothing to hide," Obama said. "I enjoy being myself. I'm not going to change who I am just because it's Halloween."
Judd Speaks In Support Of AIDS Prevention
Ashley Judd says education and prevention is the best way to combat AIDS and HIV, which disproportionately affect women and girls and prey upon the vulnerable and less fortunate.
Speaking about her new documentary film, "India's Hidden Plague," in an interview broadcast Sunday on ABC's "This Week," the actress said it costs just $10 to educate a person about the risks and protect them for an entire year.
The actress met with HIV/AIDS orphans in India while making the film, including two sisters, ages 9 and 12, whose parents died in quick succession after their father infected their mother with the disease.
"It's very real and it's real stories and real heartache and also real opportunity to focus on a solution that is very cost-effective and has an extraordinarily meaningful impact in the lives of young people," Judd said.
